This chili oil was inspired by Chef Fang's Biang Biang Noodle experience in Xian. Thick hand cut noodles dressed in this aromatic, spice laden sauce bursting with umami flavors. The flecks of chili, sesame seeds, shallots and tingly numbing sichuan peppercorns made the noodles hauntingly good. Once she got back, she made her own version of the oil and it's now her pantry staple. If you like some heat, then this will be a game changer for you!
